On September 22, 2010, testimony presented by AFL-CIO Industrial Union Council Executive Director Robert Baugh before the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Oversight and Reform Subcommittee on National Security and Foreign Affairs, referenced, and entered into the Congressional Record, the High Road Strategies report Manufacturing Insecurity, America’s Manufacturing Crisis and the Erosion of the U.S. Defense Industrial Base.   The report, which was commissioned by the AFL-CIO IUC and U.S. Business-Industry Council, examines the impact of the eroding American civilian manufacturing sector on the nation’s defense industrial base.  HRS principal Joel Yudken also made presentations on the report before the Manufacturing Division of the National Industry Association on October 28, 2010, and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces on February 10, 2011.  For more information, click here.
